Our hydraulic power pack for waste compactor adopts the TEFC motor and the reinforced steel oil tank. Combined with optimized hydraulic oil circuits, it can accelerate the heat exchange speed and reduce the operating temperature rise. During continuous and high load compression cycle operations, the system is still able to output stable hydraulic pressure.

Safety Protection and Intelligent Control Systems
In the hydraulic power pack of waste compactor, we have integrated precision relief valves and the optional PLC automation control module. They can sense and provide feedback on the internal pressure status of the system in real time. When the compression mechanism encounters hard objects that cannot be compressed, the system will automatically trigger the pressure relief protection. In addition, the standardized electronic control interface of the hydraulic power pack for waste compactor supports remote handle or automated sensing operation, improving operational safety and reducing operational difficulty.
Dual Pump High and Low Pressure System
We have adopted a dual-pump high and low pressure hydraulic system. During the unloaded movement stage of the pressure head, the system provides a large flow output to achieve rapid propulsion and shorten the compression cycle time. When the pressure head contacts the garbage and enters the compression stage, the system automatically switches to high-pressure low flow mode, continuously outputting a strong and stable compression force. This can reduce motor no-load losses, lower system heating, and improve operational efficiency.

Applications of the Hydraulic Power Pack for Waste Compactor

In large factories or centralized waste treatment centers, fixed compactors need to handle large volumes of waste for a long time. The hydraulic power pack continuously outputs high hydraulic pressure, converting bulk waste into high-density blocks. This makes sure the stability of the waste compaction system under continuous operation and increases the daily workload of the waste treatment center.

Garbage trucks and mobile compactor boxes need to move frequently between different garbage collection points. Our hydraulic power pack adopts a reinforced structure that can withstand bumps during mobile operations. Meanwhile, the power pack can be driven by a DC motor or engine, providing stable hydraulic power in a compact space. This makes the garbage initially compacted at the collection point, improving the efficiency of garbage collection and transportation.

The urban transfer station needs to receive and process a large amount of domestic waste every day. The hydraulic power pack provides a huge hydraulic pressure to the giant pusher system, which compresses the loose wastes and pushes them into the transportation container. This increased the loading density and reduced the logistics costs for the round trips between the waste transfer stations and the processing sites.

Manufacturing factories, processing enterprises, and storage facilities generate a large amount of packaging materials and production waste, which are usually bulky and occupy space. The hydraulic power pack provides stable power for waste compactor equipment, compressing the waste into a more compact form for centralized storage and unified processing.

Malls, supermarkets, hotels and logistics centers generate a large amount of cardboard boxes and household waste every day. Waste compactor drives the compression mechanism through hydraulic power packs to reduce the volume of the waste. Our hydraulic power pack for waste compactor can operate continuously for a long time, with anti pollution and wear-resistant characteristics. It can quickly compress garbage, helping the site to standardize the disposal of garbage.

You should regularly observe the transparency and odor of the oil. If the oil appears milky white and turbid, it indicates that there is moisture in the hydraulic oil. If the oil turns black and has a burnt smell, it indicates that the hydraulic oil has oxidized due to prolonged high temperature. In this case, it is necessary to immediately replace the hydraulic oil and check the cooling system to prevent impurities from wearing down components such as hydraulic pumps and valves.
The high-frequency vibration of the waste compactor can easily cause the joints to loosen. You should regularly check the connection between the hydraulic pipeline and the valve block. Choosing hydraulic joints with excellent anti vibration performance and high-quality sealing rings can reduce the risk of leakage. If you detect any leakage, you can first check whether the sealing ring has deformed or hardened. Replace the parts promptly to avoid damaging the threaded interface.
Wrong motor direction can cause the hydraulic pump to be unable to establish pressure. And in severe cases, it can also damage the internal structure of the pump. Before starting for the first time, you should briefly jog the motor, observe the rotation direction of the motor fan or coupling, and compare it with the directional arrow on the motor or the pump housing.
If the directions are not consistent, it indicates that the phase sequence of the three-phase power supply is reversed. It can be corrected by simply swapping the two phase wires at the power supply end.
Firstly, you should keep the motor fan cover, oil tank surface, and cooling device clean to avoid the accumulation of oil and dust that hinders heat dissipation. Secondly, it is necessary to regularly check whether the hydraulic oil level remains within the standard range. Adequate hydraulic oil helps with heat dissipation.
Additionally, it is recommended to install an oil temperature sensor in the hydraulic system. You can set a prompt alarm when the oil temperature approaches 60 °C to avoid the continuous increase in oil temperature, causing a decrease in oil performance and aging of seals.
The operating noise of our hydraulic power pack for waste compactor is usually controlled within the range of 65-75 dB. Our power pack uses low-noise hydraulic pumps and shock absorbing bases, which help reduce vibration and fluid noise.
This low-noise design can reduce the noise impact on the surrounding environment and is suitable for municipal waste treatment stations, commercial environments, and other applications that require noise control.
What is the Hydraulic Power Pack for Waste Compactor?
The hydraulic power pack for waste compactor is a device that provides hydraulic pressure for waste compactors. It drives the hydraulic pump through the motor to pressurize the hydraulic oil. The high-pressure oil flows through the control valve group and is then delivered to the hydraulic cylinder of the waste compactor, driving the compression mechanism to compress the waste.
Troubleshooting Guide for Hydraulic Power Pack for Waste Compactor
The Waste Compactor Operates Slowly and Weakly
Possible Causes: This situation is usually related to insufficient hydraulic oil flow, which may be due to low oil level, abnormal oil viscosity, or internal wear of the hydraulic pump causing a decrease in output capacity. Furthermore, if there is air in the system or if the oil suction pipe is not properly sealed, it will also affect the establishment of pressure and the transmission of power.
Solutions: Firstly, you should check if the oil level in the tank is within the normal range and confirm that hydraulic oil of the appropriate viscosity grade has been used. If the oil level is normal but the pump still fails to function, you can inspect whether there is any air leakage in the suction pipe and the connection, and then evacuate all the air from the system. At the same time, observe the pressure gauge reading. If the pressure still cannot reach the set value, you need to check the wear of the hydraulic pump and replace it in time.
The Motor is Running but the Compactor is Not Operating
Possible Causes: This kind of malfunction is usually caused by the solenoid valve not opening properly, the valve core getting stuck, or the control signal not being transmitted correctly, resulting in the inability of the oil to enter the hydraulic cylinder.
Solutions: You can first confirm whether the solenoid valve is powered on and check if the electronic control system is sending the correct control signals. If the solenoid valve operates but the equipment still does not respond, it is recommended that you disassemble and inspect the valve body to confirm whether the valve core is stuck by pollutants. At the same time, you also need to check the cleanliness of the oil. Impurities in the hydraulic oil can also affect the normal operation of the hydraulic pump and valves.
Insufficient System Pressure or Inability to Reach the Set Pressure
Possible Causes: Insufficient pressure is usually related to low relief valve settings, internal spring fatigue, or stuck valve cores. Wear and tear on the internal components and seals of hydraulic pumps can also lead to the inability to maintain pressure.
Solutions: You can disassemble and clean the valve core of the relief valve, inspect the set pressure of the relief valve, and confirm whether it meets the working requirements of the compactor. If the pressure cannot be established after adjustment, you can determine whether the pump core has worn out by measuring the flow output of the hydraulic pump at a specific pressure. At the same time, check for leaks at the connections between the oil cylinder and pipelines, and replace damaged seals in time.
The System Temperature is Too High
Possible Causes: This is usually related to continuous high load operation, poor oil circulation, or insufficient heat dissipation conditions. Hydraulic oil contamination or inappropriate viscosity can also increase internal friction, leading to temperature rise.
Solutions: You can check if the hydraulic oil is sufficient. Make sure that the heat dissipation area is free from dust or debris to keep good heat dissipation conditions. At the same time, you can check whether the return oil path is unobstructed and confirm if the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced. If the waste compactor needs to operate at high frequency for a long time, you can choose to add cooling devices to help the system dissipate heat.
Abnormal Noise or Violent Vibration
Possible Causes: This is usually caused by poor oil suction, air entering the system, or insufficient oil supply. This will cause cavitation inside the pump. In addition, if the pump and the motor are not properly aligned during installation, it may also cause vibration.
Solutions: You can remove the filter screen of the oil suction filter for cleaning, and make sure that the oil level in the oil tank is within the normal range. At the same time, you can recalibrate the coaxiality between the motor and the hydraulic pump and make sure that all mounting bolts on the base are tightened.
